Our journey starts with my grandfather’s building supply business. Growing up, I watched tradespeople every day—builders, contractors, and designers—coming in for materials and sharing stories. I learned early on how essential these professionals were to our community, but I also noticed the challenges they faced: long hours, physically demanding work, and the pressure of unpredictable income. It wasn’t just about the materials they needed; it was about their quality of life.
As I entered the HVAC industry and started a small remodeling company with my wife, I gained an even deeper appreciation for the hard work and dedication of tradespeople. I saw firsthand how committed they were to their craft but also how overwhelmed they could become. That’s when I realized something needed to change. Inspired by these experiences, I created HomePro Connect—a platform that allows tradespeople and designers to offer their services virtually and help homeowners with any type of task, big or small.
With HomePro Connect, homeowners can tap into the expertise of skilled professionals while still feeling empowered to tackle projects themselves. Many homeowners have the skills and determination to do things around the house; they just need a little assistance to guide them. Our platform enables them to make informed decisions and approach DIY projects with confidence, while saving a significant amount of money.
By connecting homeowners with tradespeople and designers, we’re not just facilitating assistance; we’re fostering independence. This collaboration allows homeowners and tradespeople to work together, accomplishing tasks, making or supplementing a living, and hopefully having some fun while doing it.
HomePro Connect is all about creating a win-win situation—helping tradespeople build thriving careers while enabling homeowners to save money and gain satisfaction from their DIY efforts.
